The Abbeyfield England Family

Abbeyfield Silverdale is part of The Abbeyfield England Family, a registered charity that provides housing and care for older people. To find out more about The Abbeyfield England Family you can visit their website here: Abbeyfield England

Doctors

We encourage residents to transfer to our local doctor's surgery so that there is one single point of contact with doctors. A weekly drop in surgery is held at Cove House itself. However, if residents would like to keep their usual doctor, they are welcome to do so.

Funding

We don't provide information or advice on sources of funding for care. But, to find out more about this, a useful resource can be found here.

Donations and Legacies

As a registered charity we welcome donations and legacies to Cove House. If you would like to donate to us, please contact us via phone or email.

Fees

Our fees start at around £950 per week and cover all aspects of care and living, including your own telephone number and free UK calls, as well as free wifi throughout Cove House. Detailed information about all our fees is available upon request and our rates depend on the level of care and support required.

Our Annual Report

Our Annual Report can be found on the Charity Commission website here.

About Abbeyfield England
Abbeyfield
Cove House

Right from the moment Mum moved into Cove House, I've had complete confidence in the home's provision for her safety and wellbeing. I feel lucky that we found Cove House when living alone independently ceased to be viable for Mum. We looked at over twenty other residential care homes and Cove House was the stand-out best.

Caring staff, good food, feels safe!

Tracey

Daughter of Resident

As a resident of Cove House I know what it means to care. It's not just the usual carers tasks which they do cheerfully, but the many thoughtful extras they intuit I need. I will never forget the day I was having a really rough time and the carer spontaneously put her arms around me in comforting hug. I could add the small acts of kindness like shopping for vegan pate and feeding the birds and watering my plants and bringing me gingerbread cookies. Special thanks to the cooks who cater magnificently. I have never felt so cared for in my life
