Day Care

Our day care service provides structured daytime support for elderly individuals, including:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Nutritious meals and refreshments
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Friendly, professional staff

We aim to promote independence, wellbeing, and social engagement in a safe and welcoming environment.

Full day: 9:30am - 6pm | Includes two meals and activities

Morning half day: 9:30am - 1:30pm | Includes one meal
Afternoon half day: 2pm - 6pm | Includes one meal

Personal care, i.e. having a bath or shower is only available for the full day option.

Full day, no bath/ shower | £70 per day

Full day with bath/ shower | £100 per day
Half day with bath/ shower | £50 per session

As a resident of Cove House I know what it means to care. It's not just the usual carers tasks which they do cheerfully, but the many thoughtful extras they intuit I need. I will never forget the day I was having a really rough time and the carer spontaneously put her arms around me in comforting hug. I could add the small acts of kindness like shopping for vegan pate and feeding the birds and watering my plants and bringing me gingerbread cookies. Special thanks to the cooks who cater magnificently. I have never felt so cared for in my life
